Upon arrival in Tangier , you'll be greeted by our staff and transferred to your riad or hotel. Begin your tour with a stroll through the medina, through narrow streets, bustling markets, and artisan workshops. Visit the Grand Socco , the beating heart of the city, and the Kasbah , located on a panoramic hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. This is also home to the Kasbah Museum , filled with historical artifacts that tell the story of the city's multi-ethnic history. Stroll along the Corniche to admire the port and the sea at sunset. After breakfast, depart for the magical blue city of Chefchaouen , nestled in the Rif Mountains. Along the way, you'll pass through picturesque Berber villages and spectacular mountain scenery. A full day dedicated to exploring Fez with a professional guide. You'll visit the main monuments of the Fez el Bali medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, through winding alleys, markets, and artisan workshops. Among the main attractions are the Bou Inania Medersa , the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque , and the famous Chouara tanneries . We'll wake up early and set off for the Merzouga desert , crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane , known as the "Switzerland of Morocco" for its alpine architecture, followed by the cedar forest of Azrou , home to the famous Barbary apes. After lunch in Midelt , the journey continues through mountain landscapes and Berber villages to Merzouga, where we'll take an exciting camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in a Berber tented camp.
After breakfast, depart from the desert towards the spectacular Todra Gorges , famous for their high rock faces and evocative landscapes, ideal for hiking and photography. Continue to the Dades Valley , known for its unique rock formations known as "monkey fingers" and traditional Berber villages. Along the way, scenic stops offer breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys. Arrive in the Dades Valley in the evening for an overnight stay in a hotel or riad.
After breakfast, depart for the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou , a UNESCO World Heritage Site and renowned for its film-like settings. Continue to Ouarzazate , known as the "gateway to the desert," where you can visit film studios and local kasbahs. The journey then crosses the scenic passes of the High Atlas , with photo stops along valleys and mountain villages, until reaching Marrakech in the late afternoon.
