3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga Desert

Depart early in the morning from Marrakech, crossing the winding roads of the High Atlas and the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m). Along the way, we'll stop at scenic overlooks and traditional Berber villages. The highlight of the day is a guided visit to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah , a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its adobe architecture and for having been the setting for numerous films. After lunch, we continue towards Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa," and along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. In the evening, we'll arrive in the Dades Valley , where we'll have dinner and an overnight stay in a riad or traditional hotel.

After breakfast, the tour continues to the spectacular Todra Gorges , a canyon with walls over 300 meters high, much loved by hikers and climbers. We pass through palm groves and desert plateaus until we reach Merzouga , the gateway to the Sahara. Here, a camel caravan awaits you to experience the magical sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes . The night is spent in a luxury tented camp in the desert , with a traditional dinner, Berber music around the fire, and a breathtaking starry sky.

Rise early to admire the spectacular sunrise over the Sahara, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga. After breakfast, we head north through the picturesque Ziz Valley , characterized by endless palm groves and rocky canyons. We continue to Midelt, nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains, and then through the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may encounter the region's monkeys. In the afternoon, we arrive in Fez , one of Morocco's most fascinating imperial cities, ending the tour.
