Depart early in the morning from Fez for a journey that takes you from the Middle Atlas Mountains to the heart of the Sahara. Continuing, you reach the cedar forest of Azrou , populated by Barbary apes, where you can stop to take photographs and stroll among nature. After lunch on your own in Midelt , a city known for its apple production, the route continues through mountainous and desert landscapes until you discover the immense Ziz Valley .
